LMF initiates new route for transferring breakbulk cargo in Henan, Hebei

November 2022

To better serve our diverse clientele worldwide, Leader Mutual Freight (LMF) has been actively expanding its service portfolio and regional coverage in recent years. Take, for example, our newly launched Zhengzhou-Hebei Express Line, which was pioneered by LMF’s branch offices in Shijiazhuang and Zhengzhou. The express program utilizes warehousing facilities in two separate locations — Hebei’s Shijiazhuang and Henan’s Zhengzhou, which are roughly 400 kilometers apart — to meet the growing demand for freight mobility across the two neighboring provinces. As a new flagship service in our China portfolio, this initiative closes the logistical gap between Hebei and Henan while facilitating the transportation of breakbulk cargo.

Preparations for launching the express line began back in July 2022, despite the disruptions wrought by the Covid-19 crisis across China. LMF’s Shijiazhuang and Zhengzhou offices jointly organized a two-week boot camp by trading teams. Participants were briefed on the operational impact of the pandemic, such as grounded airliners and sea freighters, employees unable to physically attend work, and the suspension of many traditional marketing avenues. Nevertheless, LMF’s indomitable fighting spirit pulled through, and our network devised a way to keep truckers on the road, employees safe, and cargo delivered on time as promised.

The Zhengzhou-Shijiazhuang Express Line began ferrying breakbulk cargo and individual packages between Henan and Hebei in July 2022. One depot serves the Henan cities of Xinxiang, Shangqiu, Xinyang, Luoyang, Nanyang, and Sanmenxia; its counterpart serves the Hebei cities of Handan, Xingtai, Baoding, and Cangzhou. We are happy to extend our regional coverage to service more communities and strengthen the logistics grid in central China.
