Over four decades of experience in shipping perishables and live cargo since 1979 have led Leader Mutual Freight (LMF) to develop advanced cold-chain logistics without losing the warmth of a personal, human touch. From pre-delivery packaging design and route customization, to reinforcement of the dual-layered thermal insulation and the full arrangement of cargo shipment from origin to destination, we are a one-stop global provider of logistical solutions. You can entrust your temperature-sensitive cargo to LMF, a seasoned freight forwarder now in our fifth year as a certified pharmaceutical product handler.
One recent cold-chain mission involved gathering five Envirotainer containers from Germany and flying the loaded containers to China’s Shanghai. The September 2022 assignment required a stable temperature of +15 to +25℃, because the containers were carrying Exeltis’ innovative patch formation Rivastigmine MD for the treatment of mild to moderate dementia associated with Alzheimer’s disease. Moreover, the client stipulated that all five containers had to arrive by the same flight.
LMF immediately drafted a comprehensive proposal: transport the medical patches from Germany to China by using a four-plus-one combo, specifically four Envirotainer RAP e2 containers that can hold five Euro pallets each, and one Envirotainer RKN e1, a pallet-sized container with an active temperature-control system.
The proposal was immediately accepted by the client and LMF moved onto contacting airlines and cargo depots for booking options, and reaching out to colleagues stationed at the German take-off city and the Chinese destination city to learn about their latest on-the-ground situation. As the client awaited for the plane to land in Shanghai, we were able to provide timely updates such as cargo tracking and city-specific appraisals, deepening customer trust and satisfaction with the swift air shipment and a hassle-free experience.
LMF’s calling is to alleviate a client’s worries. The LMF netw
