On June 14, 2014, Leader Mutual Freight (LMF) became the official transport partner for a special exhibit in which ancient artifacts from the Hubei Province Museum in China were curated for display at Shihsanhang Museum of Archaeology in New Taipei City.

This endeavor called for cross-strait transportation of many items with high historic and artistic value. LMF was responsible for a total of 117 valuable items, including stone carvings of sun worshipers, a ceramic chalice, delicate ceramic animals, jade carvings, and colorful ceramic mugs — all of great cultural significance and some dating back as far as 7,000 years ago. One particular statue depicting a sun worshipper stands 115 centimeters tall and is considered the Hubei museum’s most treasured artifact.

As part of our assignment, LMF partnered with Safety Packing & Transport Co. Ltd. to handle everything, from meticulously packing the items to bonded trucking, warehousing, monitoring the customs and inspections process, and ensuring timely delivery to Shihsanh ang Museum. At every step along the way, an experienced LMF team member was there to personally manage this momentous, delicate project. The “Prehistoric Artifacts Exhibition of Middle Reaches of the Yangtze River from Hubei Province Museum” was a success.
